Comparisons of Original and Redo by Energyzed Comparisons of Original and Redo by Energyzed
I....I don't even know what to say about this, to be honest.
The original (left) is over all better than the redo (right). Yeah, the original is more dull in terms of hue, but the shading is better, and even though her eyes are uneven she looks like she has more personality.

I'm not even sure what happened when I attmpted to redo this...but it fails hardcore. Ugh, let this be a lesson to whatever newcomer to art stumbles upon this piece.

Original done in GIMP
Redo done in Paint Tool Sai

I really like the way you did the redraw, the skin tone is much more appealing and you have a great start on her hair. <3 keep it up!

Thank you thank you! I just don't know what's going on with the hair or her face to be honest. The first trial is overall better, but the color is off. The second one is off in so many ways, but the colors look nicer....UGH!!!! D:<

Glad you like it though. Thanks ;P

Well keep playing around with it, eventually you will find something you're happy with. And keep in mind the way shading and darks against lights can play with contrast and the overall appearence.

But, I do enjoy your progress. :)
